Sustainability

All operations of Orisco Energy shall be planned and executed in such a manner as to minimize any adverse effect or impact on the environment in which we operate.

The thrust of the planning and execution of our work shall be environmental protection and preservation. During our operation, all wastes generated shall be collected, segregated and disposed off in an environmentally sound manner according to the company's and local Regulatory policy. The emission to atmosphere shall be limited to the emission criteria of client and Orisco Energy reference data criteria. Contaminated water or other liquid shall be contained within the plot area and treated, analyzed prior to authorized discharge.

Orisco Energy shall put in place all necessary regulations/legislations on environmental issue by the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and its appropriate agencies such as Federal Environmental Protection Agency (FEPA) and Local Government Authority and Ministry of Health.

All staff of Orisco Energy shall be medically fit and shall remain so, during their employment and ensure fitness for duty prior to mobilization to site according to company policy.

We shall maintain an insurance against any liability that may result in case of any personnel suffering occupational disease or any impairment to health resulting from our operation. The company's retained clinic shall handle all routine medical and medical emergencies. Only certified and competent First Aider and nurse can man the first aid box and administer first aid in any operational areas. Records of medications administered, or injuries must be kept at site and base office.

Orisco Energy is committed to protecting the health and safety of every individual that is involved with her activities which includes clients, employees, consultants, contractors and communities in which we operate. Each member of staff will be made to report any unsafe behaviors and conditions noticed within the work site and ensure is addressed timely to prevent incident or accident.
